Heartbroken King Charles III has delivered a message on the India airline disaster tragedy.
Air India flight 171, destined for London, crashed near Ahmedabad shortly after takeoff, killing everybody on board.
There were 242 individuals on board, with 230 passengers and 12 staff members. According to sources, people on board comprised 169 Indians, 53 British nationals, one Canadian, and seven Portuguese residents.
In a personal message, the British monarch said, "My wife and I have been devastated by the horrific events in Ahmedabad this morning.
"Our special prayers and deepest possible sympathy are with the families and friends of all those affected by this appallingly tragic incident across so many nations, as they await news of their loved ones."
