Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shown considerable concern for their children's privacy and well-being, particularly during public engagements.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are parents to Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, appear to be violating their slogan of "not serving her kids on a platter".
According to royal photographer, Arthur Edwards, Prince William and Prince Harry “absolutely hated” having their portraits taken when they were kids. They felt under pressure, which was not something they wanted for their children.
Meghan and Harry have made it clear that they will not display Archie and Lilibet's faces to the public, particularly on social media.
However, The Sun royal editor, Matt Wilkinson, pointed out that Meghan is now putting her children on social media to promote As Ever and her companies, implying that she is going against her earlier choice if money is involved.
Will we ever see their faces? I don’t know, maybe one day she'll release a calendar or something with her children's faces and that'll be sort of another Meghan special,” Arthur quipped.
He stated that there is "some sort of scheme there where she might want some money ties on one day".
Meanwhile, royal journalist Bronte Coy noted that it’s “jarring” that the youngsters only emerge when there is anything “commercial” being place.
"People accept the decision to keep the kids out of the public glare, but it's when they appear commercially," she added, adding that "of course it's Meghan's decision.
She went on to explain that it is "very jarring when you compare it to what a big deal they made about it back then and now because there is money involved."
The news comes as insiders stated that Meghan is considering expanding As Ever to restaurants and hotels.
