Following its theatrical premiere, The Accountant 2 provided fans of the franchise with an intriguing new update.
Earlier this week, Amazon MGM Studios announced the streaming release date for the Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal-led The Accountant sequel.
In addition to other news sites, Deadline reported on Monday, June 2, that the recently released film would be available internationally on Prime Video beginning Thursday, June 5.
The sequel to 2016's The Accountant has Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband resuming his role as Christian Wolff as he seeks to investigate the murder of his friend, who left behind a cryptic note to "find the accountant."
The most recent date was revealed after the film's theatrical debut in April, which followed the action thriller 2025 film's global gross of more than $100 million.
Prior to its April release, The Accountant 2 premiered at the highly praised SXSW, where it won the Headliner Audience Award.
In addition to Affleck and Bernthal, the star-studded cast features Daniella Pineda, Allison Robertson, and J.K Simmons.
It is worth noting that the original The Accountant made $155 million globally after its 2016 theatrical debut before becoming the most-rented digital picture of the following year.
