Meghan Markle will be honored at a glitzy Los Angeles event on June 14, which coincides with King Charles' formal commemoration, Trooping the Colour.
GB News reports that the Duchess of Sussex will be honored at the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County's Night of Wonder Gala.
The event acknowledges her contributions to community well-being and efforts to promote fairness and opportunity.
"We are proud to honor Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, a native Angeleno whose work to advance community wellbeing and expand opportunity aligns with our equity-focused approach," Lori Bettison-Varga, President and Director of the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County, stated.
Several high-profile figures, including Meghan's longtime friend and business colleague Rick Genow, are organising the star-studded affair.
The film producer and his wife, Mary Fulginiti-Genow, are mentioned as co-stars in the gala. Genow has long been a member of Meghan's closest group and has remained a reliable ally as she transitions from royal life to her new career in Hollywood.
Since moving to California with Prince Harry and their two children in 2020, the 43-year-old Duchess has progressively increased her public image by making appearances at high-profile events in Los Angeles.
It is unknown if Prince Harry will accompany her to the black-tie occasion.
