Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, published a fresh claimed render of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 on X (previously Twitter). The latest model appears to be similar in design to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but there are a few notable distinctions. The picture lacks the color-matched rings that surround the rear camera lenses. Last year's Galaxy Z Fold 6 and this year's Galaxy S25 series have larger metallic rings around the lenses. They are easily seen on the phone's back.

The source claims that Samsung has chosen to remove the camera rings design, called the 'Saturn Ring Design', from the final mass production version of the phone after the Galaxy S25 series camera rings received widespread criticism from customers. The latest render shows the phone in a blue color with a vertically organized triple camera arrangement. According to the insider, Samsung may also eliminate the heavy metal camera rings from next year's Galaxy S26 series.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is likely to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. It is expected to include a 6.5-inch exterior display and an 8-inch internal screen. The phone measured 4.2mm when unfurled and 8.9mm when folded. It is believed to weigh 215 grams.
