Paul Mescal was sighted for the first time since his Oscar nomination for 'A Streetcar Named Desire' rehearsals. Paul Mescal was photographed for the first time since his Oscar nomination for Best Actor for rehearsals of his current theatrical production, A Streetcar Named Desire.

On Saturday, January 28, Paul Mescal was dressed casually as he travelled to the venue where he'll be galvanising for a week of gigs as lead Stanley Kowalski.

According to the Daily Mail, the Normal People actor dressed warmly as he went through London's city centre, wearing a dark green shirt, blue pants, and a black bomber jacket.

Mescal, 26, rounded out his ensemble with a dark brown hat and black and white striped sneakers.

A Streetcar Named Desire was the actor's favourite play. He praised the "formidable ensemble and creative team, led by the extraordinarily gifted [director] Rebecca Frecknall," and added, "It's lovely to be able to share it with a broader audience."
