Rihanna may be planning a major tour in conjunction with her Super Bowl performance.
"She has her North American dates set to release for 2023 after the Super Bowl," a source told The Sun, "and it will be a matter of time before European dates are published for 2024."
The 34-year-old Umbrella hitmaker has taken a sabbatical from singing and travelling in recent years, with her most recent appearance in the UK being seven years ago (2016).
"Her idea is to build up tiny residences in big cities rather than visit several destinations," the insider stated.
"She wants her next worldwide excursion to be quick and simple because she aims to centre on Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty following her brief comeback to music," they continued.
Rihanna has also been seen working hard in the studio in recent months, where she is rumoured to be preparing for her Super Bowl performance.
"Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show will be one of the finest of all time," a music industry source said. "She's been working nonstop on every aspect of the show. The list of songs that made the cut is very extensive and spans Rihanna's whole career, including the new one she's about to embark on."
Early last month, Rihanna's boyfriend and baby daddy, A$AP Rocky, revealed details about the singer's impending SuperBowl performance and promised new songs.
"Oh, dude. "I'm as as excited as you guys, if not more," he said on Apple Music 1 radio with Zane Lowe. "Yeah, I'm really excited. This is enormous. This is amazing. "I'm really thrilled my woman is back doing songs and doing stuff and getting back out there."
Rihanna and Rocky are expecting their first child in May 2022.
"It's absolutely wonderful," the rapper went on to say. "It's a fantastic year for both of us to be more active and out there," she says. But the Super Bowl is enormous, and she's a creative person, so she'll bring it, dude. I'm ecstatic. To be honest, I'm more delighted than everyone else."
