Victoria Beckham has devised a new strategy to ensure that her son Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz spend more time with the family.
Following her failed attempts to mend her relationship with her son and daughter-in-law, the fashion designer is now focused on rebuilding the brand Beckham.
According to Heat Magazine, Victoria has opted to mix with A-list Hollywood stars and sports giants in order to re-establish the brand after it was harmed by their conflict with the Transformers actor.
As a result, their brand will regain its prominence, which may persuade Brooklyn and Nicola, who have been attempting to develop their own brand by mingling with Hollywood bigwigs, to become more involved with the family.
It would also demonstrate to Victoria and David Beckham that they are still the genuine power couple, while simultaneously reminding them of what it takes to be a true A-lister.
"Victoria isn't sure whether she'll ever get along with Nicola, but she's now less concerned on their relationship and more interested in building her brand with David and generating a genuine buzz around them like they did in their heyday," a source added.
"She wants them to come out with all guns blazing and compete with Brooklyn and Nicola. She believes what they're doing now with their Vogue videos and other initiatives is adorable, but she wants to remind everyone what a power pair she and David can be.
"She's also indicated that she and David should think about giving a large joint interview," the insider claimed, adding that the former football great dislikes competing with the youngsters.
"David is fine for building the brand, but he doesn't like the thought of competing with Brooklyn and Nicola," added the insider.
"But if Vic's proposal may bring their eldest kid wanting to spend more time with his old father again, then David's all for it.
"It's not a competition, but Vic doesn't want to be overshadowed by her young son and his new wife," the person continued.
"Vic wants to instil a sense of enthusiasm in Brooklyn, making him want to spend more time with his family - and leaving Nicola with no choice but to follow suit."
