Trevor Noah has opened out on how hosting the Grammys this year would be different for him since leaving The Daily Show.
Noah, who will host the 2023 Grammy Awards live from Los Angeles, will be hosting Music's Biggest Night for the third year in a row.
The comedian, 38, said ahead of the ceremony that he has seen a significant difference in his life since last year's Grammys celebration and hailed Beyoncé for motivating him to move on.
Beyoncé's famous song Break My Soul from her Renaissance album, which is nominated for Album of the Year, became the "soundtrack of his life," according to Noah.
The lyrics of the Grammy-nominated main tune are about letting go of things that no longer serve you, such as "leave yer work" and "release the worry."
"I genuinely, truly am [living my best life]," Noah said Janine Rubenstein, presenter of the People Every Day podcast. "I really, really am."
"It's been extremely great," he stated of his post-show existence. "I was performing standup during the years that I've been at 'The Daily Show', but now it's different in that I have a bit more time to soak up the cities that I'm visiting. I now have more time to be present and explore. It's no longer in and out."
He also stated that he can now appreciate the Grammys a little more.
Noah left The Daily Show, which he has helmed for seven seasons, in December 2022.
