Taylor Lautner says that Jacob in the 'Twilight' films is 'a touch aggravating.'

 Taylor Lautner has stated that Jacob Black, his character in the blockbuster Twilight trilogy, is 'a little unpleasant.'

In response to the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob controversy, Lautner revealed that he just viewed parts of the Twilight films for the first time in years and recognised why some people don't like Jacob.

In an interview with the Dear Media podcast The Toast, presented by Jackie and Claudia Oshry, Lautner and his wife, also called Taylor Lautner (née Dome), addressed their relationship and his fan-favorite role in the vampire franchise.

Lautner was asked how he felt about his wife's support for Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson) in the popular film series.

"Right now, this is a scoop," Lautner said. "I've never spoken anything like this before, and I'm expecting some backlash. I'll always be there for Jacob."

Lautner revealed that a year ago, while sleeping in a hotel room, he watched a Twilight marathon on TV. "I was browsing through and New Moon came on, so I thought, 'Why not?'" he recounted.

"As I was watching that, I was like, I somewhat understand it. Jacob is a tad obnoxious. I adore Jacob and his heart, although he's a tad irritating."

"Right now, my heart is thumping out of my chest," Lautner told the presenter.
