The Final of Us Ellie star Bella Ramsey discussed what it would be like to be without Pedro in Season 2 of the show.
HBO announced The Last of Us season 2 shortly after its record-breaking and extraordinary spectacular premiere, and before the streaming of renowned episode 3.
Ramsey spoke on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast shortly after the news.
The Ellie actress discussed what fascinates and intimidates her the most about The Last of Us season 2 despite knowing numerous big plot developments from the second game.
"I'm so happy to be truthful for the Ellie Dina tale. I saw a cut together where someone produced a beautiful - I'm not sure how they do it - like an amazing edit of just like the gameplay, like Ellie and Dina's love story."
"So I'm thrilled to play that out," she said. And the intricacy of her connection with Joel, and how it becomes noticeably more complex, which I'm looking forward to. And the violence that happens is exciting in a way, because it allows you to explore it in a somewhat secure context. It'll be fun."
"But I'm concerned as well. I'm concerned because I know what happens in the second game, and I'm worried about being without Pedro for an extended period of time. It's going to be really sad "She went on to say.
The Last of Us is HBO's first original series, based on the blockbuster 2013 video game of the same name.
The new gripping series, starring Pedro Pascal and Ramsey, has received great acclaim since its January 15, 2023 debut.
