Liam Payne, who died on November 20 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina, was put to rest on Wednesday, with his family, friends, and One Direction bandmates paying their final respects.
The British Airways flight attendant who made a disturbing joke about late musician Liam has been suspended, according to media reports.
The comment was labeled as "heartless" and was about the late singer's health difficulties, causing a tremendous outrage online.
The suspected crew member was allegedly aboard the airplane that returned the Teardrops hitmaker's body home from Buenos Aires.
Liam, who began his solo career in May 2017, tragically died as a result of serious injuries that caused internal and external bleeding.
According to recent accounts, the flight attendant violated rigorous British Airways guidelines by sharing information with her online colleagues that Liam's body was on the flight after it was released by officials.
"Just been told we're carrying a coffin with us today," she said in her post.
They went on: "To then find out it's Liam Payne's body and his family are on our flight too, heart-breaking."
According to The Sun News, the national airline is in trouble after suspending a certain member.
