King Charles is preparing for an important journey as the Palace plans the monarch's activities for next year.
Previously, a source stated that a significant plan for the royal couple has been approved following their successful trip of Australia and Samoa during the monarch's medical recuperation.
Given how the King's health fared throughout the arduous long-distance journeys, Palace officials are developing ambitious plans for Charles to resume a "normal" working schedule, including overseas trips.
According to sources, King Charles and Camilla will formally visit the Indian subcontinent in 2022 to resume their relationship.
"It's hugely encouraging to be able to make such plans for the King and Queen given the year the monarch has had, but it's very much full steam ahead," a person acquainted with the matter told The Mirror.
"A trip to the Indian subcontinent is in the works, which will have enormous political and cultural implications for Britain on the global stage. "The King and Queen are ideal ambassadors at this time."
According to the report, foreign officials have been requested to consider and develop suggestions for tours of India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
There has been no formal statement on the plans as of yet.
King Charles was scheduled to visit subcontinent nations on one of his travels until they were unexpectedly canceled owing to the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth.
