Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons, co-stars on The Big Bang Theory, hugged during an unexpected reunion.
On Saturday, November 23, Cuoco, 38, shared an Instagram story from her recent visit to Parsons' Broadway play of Our Town in New York City, where the two enjoyed a nice moment.
"Go see Jim Parsons at @ourtownbraodway!" It's beyond!" she said beside a photo of the two embracing a warm, cozy hug beneath a backstage staircase.
"I surprised him," she stated, attaching a GIF that said "Reunited."
Cuoco, who portrayed Sheldon's eccentric neighbor Penny on The Big Bang Theory, which ended after 12 seasons in 2019, has stayed close to her former co-stars.
Fans have regularly inquired about the potential of a Big Bang Theory relaunch, but Parsons, 51, stated in October that he had no interest in returning to the program anytime soon.
While there is no word on a Big Bang Theory revival, a prequel, Young Sheldon, was made to go into the early years of Parsons' character, Sheldon Cooper, growing up in Texas.
The sitcom ended earlier this year, and in October, another spinoff, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, launched, extending the Big Bang series.
