Meghan Markle is furious with Kate Middleton for attempting to intercede in the continuing feud between Prince Harry and Prince William.
Insiders say the Duchess of Sussex is in a panic after Prince Harry's sister-in-law reunited with him to finally repair the strained relations and maybe welcome him back into the fold.
"Meghan isn't happy at all," one insider told Closer Magazine. "She's panicking about Harry being sucked back into his old life."
According to the insider, it is "far better" for Meghan that Harry remains outside of the royal family "so she can have him firmly and safely in her corner".
"The thought of him cosying up to his family again has struck a note of panic," a source told Reuters. "She's furious at Kate's meddling and feels as though she's trying to coax Harry away from her and get him back into their fold as a kind of revenge."
They went on; "Meghan still has major issues with Kate and partly blames her for them having to step down - so she's furious that she's even getting involved."
Previously, it was stated that the Princess of Wales is acting as a mediator between her husband and Prince Harry to end their "awful" dispute, which is taking a toll on the brothers' mental health.
According to the insider, Kate is behind Prince William's decision to publicly acknowledge Harry for the first time in six years.
According to the publication, Kate requested a private meeting with Harry in October to discuss their feelings. Meanwhile, she has been communicating with Harry on and off.
However, the assertions have yet to be proven.
