Samsung's One UI 7 Update Release Timeline for Galaxy S24 Series and Older Models Has Leaked

 

One UI 7, Samsung's next Android 15-based software upgrade for eligible handsets, is scheduled to release a few months later than competitors. While OnePlus and Oppo have already begun to roll out Android 15 upgrades for flagship models, Samsung has yet to disclose when the One UI 7 beta will be released to testers. A tipster has finally revealed the rumored release date of the Android 15 beta and stable upgrades for Samsung's Galaxy S-series handsets.

One UI 7 Beta Release Timeline (Leaked)

Citing Samsung sources, X (previously Twitter) user NMPS (@FamilyTaes) says that the One UI 7 beta program might begin next month. According to a post on the platform, Samsung will release the One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S24 series (which includes the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra) in the first week of December.

While Samsung Galaxy S24 customers may not have to wait long to start testing the One Ui 7 upgrade, owners of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra may have to wait "at least 2-3 weeks," according to the source.

Users of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra may not receive a One UI 7 beta release this year, according to the user, while the earlier Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra devices will not be included in the beta program.

According to the tipster, the One UI 7 beta programme will last two months. Meanwhile, the stable version of One UI 7 is not scheduled to be released in February. As a consequence, the Galaxy S25 series, which is anticipated to be released in January, might be the only handsets from the firm to run the most recent version of One UI until the upgrade is given out to earlier models a month later.

Samsung is also scheduled to release the One UI 7 upgrade to other eligible Galaxy A-series, M-series, and F-series handsets. According to another X user, more than 50 models are likely to receive the One UI 70 upgrade.
