Buckingham Palace continued with business as normal despite the royal family being shaken by a significant security incident that is presently being investigated.
On Friday, the office of King Charles and the Army in London produced a charming video of the Changing of the Guards ritual, which was performed to a new melody this time.
The army band performed a jazzy rendition of Pentatonix's song "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." The palace said that there would be a new carol played in a distinctive way each time till the big holiday.
"Listen out for your favourite festive tunes at Guard Change this December and some new variations of familiar classics!" said the advertisement.
"The British Army Bands will perform Christmas music at every Guard Change ceremony in the run up to Christmas, so if you need a festive boost, come along and join us at Buckingham Palace soon!"
The Changing of the Guard event, which takes place every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, is the transfer of duty between the Old and New Guards.
Andrew made associated with a man named H6, who turned out to be a Chinese spy. H6 was forbidden from entering the country in 2023 due to national security concerns.
According to The Mirror, The King has been "briefed about this situation regarding the suspected Chinese spy and is very aware of what has occurred and what is being done about it."
