Donald Trump opens out about his conversation with Prince William.

 

Donald Trump has spoken out about his "great talk" with Prince William, revealing specifics of their private conversation during their visit in Paris on Saturday.

The Prince of Wales met with the 78-year-old US president-elect following Notre Dame Cathedral's ceremonial reopening.

The two leaders met for a forthright chat in the Salon Jaune room of the British ambassador's home.

Speaking to the New York Post, Trump said that he used the occasion to inquire about the health of both King Charles, who is having treatment while performing his royal responsibilities, and the Princess of Wales, who finished chemotherapy in September.

Following the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, the two met privately for more than 30 minutes at the British ambassador's house.

"I asked him about his wife, and he said she's doing well," stated Trump. "When I questioned him about his father, he replied he was battling extremely hard. He adores his father and wife, so it was heartbreaking."

He also praised the Prince's looks. "He's a good-looking guy," Trump said. "He looked quite gorgeous. Do some individuals appear better in person? He looked terrific. "I told him that."

The two also had a light talk, with William asking Donald if he had warmed up after the cold incident. "It was a beautiful ceremony," he said.

Before departing, he addressed the Prince as "a good man" and applauded his efforts. "He's doing a fantastic job," Trump continued.
