With Tom Cruise's well-known holiday present, Glen Powell is at last prepared to begin the celebrations.
The Top Gun: Maverick star posted a picture of the beautifully wrapped surprise with a gold bow and sparkling reindeer ornament on Instagram on December 13 to flaunt the highly sought-after holiday present.
"The cake for the cruise has arrived." For emphasis, Powell included a cake emoji in the caption of the photo.
Powell, who costarred with Cruise in the 2022 smash as Lt. Jake "Hangman" Seresin, is among the many fortunate people who received the white chocolate coconut bundt cake from Doan's Bakery in Woodland Hills, California.
Every December, Cruise famously brings the cake to her friends and co-stars, including Tom Hanks, Kristen Dunst, and Angela Bassett.
Glen has made no secret of his passion for the decadent custom, even throwing yearly "Cruise Cake Parties" to celebrate with friends.
Powell described it as "the most delicious cake you've ever had" during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in November 2022, and he acknowledged that he gives enthusiastic guests slices. "They can't become avaricious... By the end of the night, it's generally destroyed," he jokingly said.
