King Charles is furious with Prince Andrew for his latest error, which has put the royal family at risk.
The monarch's relationship with his disgraced brother was already tense before Andrew's association with the accused Chinese spy was revealed.
According to palace sources, Charles is weary of Andrew's pranks and hopes to get rid of him after he has humiliated the family name so many times.
"The Palace has done the best it can with a difficult relationship," a source told DailyMail. "Every sanction that can be imposed has been, but you can't divorce or sack your brother from being your brother."
The source went on to say, "There will always be a blood link, and all families cope with problematic relatives. Of course, it is understandable that it looks horrible for the entire family, but this is due to one individual."
MI5 alerted King Charles about a security breach involving a spy who was deemed Andrew's 'confidante'.
Andrew was previously involved in a dispute with King Charles about the Royal Lodge. After cutting off the embarrassed royal's income supply, Charles intended to downgrade him to Frogmore Cottage.
According to a specialized tribunal hearing in July this year, Andrew's assistant Dominic Hampshire informed the accused that he could act on the duke's behalf when engaging with possible Chinese investors.
The Duke of York, who was deprived of his royal titles and patronages for his sexual assault case, was determined to keep the 30-room estate despite his 75-year lease.
However, despite demonstrating "legitimate sources" of income, Andrew appears to be in risk of losing his Windsor property.
