Despite their ongoing spat, estranged brothers Prince William and Prince Harry reconnected to celebrate a momentous occasion.
The royal siblings released messages, although from different continents, to express their support for the charity honoring their late mother, Princess Diana, which is celebrating its 25th year.
The Diana Award recognizes young individuals who are making a difference in their communities, country, and the globe.
On Wednesday, the Prince of Wales extended a letter of appreciation to the "extraordinary" 2024 Diana Award winners.
"I am very pleased of the effect each of you has had in your communities and beyond. You are motivated by love and compassion, and together, you are changing the world for the better," William wrote.
"I'm sure my mother, in whose memory you receive the Diana Award tonight, would be quite proud of you. "I hope this award encourages you to continue championing your cause and supporting those around you," he added.
Following Prince William's letter, Prince Harry's recorded message will be played at the awards event on Thursday, alongside Diana Award Legacy Award winners Chiara Riyanti Hutapea Zhang and Christina Williams, 27, both from Jamaica.
The Duke is anticipated to stress his mother's impact while acknowledging global concerns such as climate change, mental health, and systematic inequalities.
In the video, he stated that "my mother's belief in the power of young people to drive positive change continues to inspire me".
The words came after allegations surfaced that Harry and William will not attend the awards together. Despite suggestions that William's position towards his brother is moderating, it appears that the conflict continues as they shun public appearances.
