Ringo Starr from the iconic band The Beatles has stated his desire for the soundtrack Now and Then to win a Grammy next year.
The band's song was completed last year with the aid of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and became a chartbuster the moment it was released.
It has been nominated for 'Record of the Year' and 'Best Rock Performance' at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Ringo hopes the song obtains a lot of attention at the largest music awards event for several reasons.
According to Starr, it is "the last track by the boys." In an interview with Music Week, he remarked, "I would want to win a Grammy. That is the business I am in, and the track record is good. "The boys' final track."
Second, the music was written by the late John Lennon and then completed by The Beatles' surviving members.
While recalling how Paul McCartney rallied them all to support the proposal to release this particular song.
The band's original drummer explained: "He said, 'You remember that track we did? So, I put it together. Will you play drums on it?
"I responded, 'Sure, send the files over.'" That's how we do it now, and I played the drums and sung in the chorus.
The 84-year-old continued, "He did an excellent job. He added the strings and lead guitar, which gave the song its passion. It turned out pretty well, and let's hope for a Grammy. We'll see; a lot of individuals are vying for Grammys."
The English rock band released Now and Then on November 2, 2023.
