Zara Tindall appears to have given a beautiful nod to her aunt Duchess Sophie's heartfelt gift for her close friend.
According to GB, Princess Anne's daughter recently discussed her wonderful experience to "Australia and Magic Millions, a 10-day equestrian carnival."
The carnival is owned by Zara's friend Katie Page and her husband Gerry Harvey.
Katie told the Australian Financial Review Magazine that she and her husband interact with the royals at the races. The 68-year-old socialite also had an enjoyable encounter with the Duchess of Edinburgh.
She remarked, "Gerry and I were fortunate enough to attend the races alongside the Queen and Prince Philip. We had lunch with them, and it was excellent. Charles and Camilla were present as well.
"We were privileged to ride in the carriages, and it was hilarious. I'm all dressed up, and a bird has pooped on me. "They all thought it was hilarious," she said.
Katie responded: "And Princess Sophie [the Duchess of Edinburgh] had to clean me up."
Zara responded by laughing and said, "That's good luck."
Notably, Zara's remark came after the Duchess earned a historic title formerly bestowed to her late father-in-law, Prince Philip.
The mother of two is now the patron of Capability Scotland, a charity that helps disadvantaged individuals.
