Former royal staffer Jason Knauf has made news following his recent interview on 60 Minutes Australia, when he discussed the feud between Prince William and Prince Harry.
Cameron Walker, a royal specialist, said on GB News that Knauf had William's assent before publicizing the siblings' troubled relationship.
Knauf no longer works for the Prince of Wales, but he remains a close and trusted confidant. Knauf described the brothers' relationship as "hard and sad" throughout the conversation, emphasizing William's need for solitude.
"He has chosen to keep his thoughts private, and all of us who know him should do the same," Knauf told me.
Knauf, who previously oversaw communications for both William and Harry, also discussed the monarchy's shifting position, emphasizing that each generation must clarify its obligations.
His role in previous feuds between the brothers, including charges against Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has long been a source of friction.
