Queen Camilla stepped in for her beloved husband, King Charles, after he was discovered in a tense situation due to unfortunate news.
The Queen, who has been a big source of support for the king during some of the most difficult moments of his reign, including his cancer struggle, was once again present to wipe his tears as he mourned the death of two key personalities.
Buckingham Palace sent an update on Camilla's recent royal engagement, during which she supported a key cause near to her heart.
It stated, “Her Majesty, as Patron, has supported the Library since 2012 and is a passionate champion of the benefits of reading at all ages.”
The incident occurred just hours after the queen sent a heartfelt statement mourning the death of Sir Julius Chan, a Papua New Guinea statesman. Prior to that, a royal source revealed that the King was saddened to learn of the Aga Khan's death, describing him as "a personal friend of many years."
