Jeremy Renner mustered the courage to get back on the snowplow that nearly killed him.
Renner was plowed over by the 14,300-pound Snowcat plow in January 2023, leaving him with over 30 fractured bones and severe injuries that required years to cure.
The Marvel star has written a biography called My Next Breath, which describes the tragic tragedy and its aftermath.
During his Wednesday, April 29 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he was asked why he drove the snowplow again after recuperating.
"I go directly into the eye of the hurricane of any fear or anything. I didn't want this stuff to haunt or own me in any way," he explained.
"It was strange getting off since you had to step on the tracks. And I still spotted small shreds of my garments in there. "And some other things that I don't want to say," Renner revealed.
"I just winked and said, 'Ha! I made it.'" "You can't beat me." Renner acknowledged, "I just kind of walk away."
"It's like breaking up with a lover you haven't seen in a long, and then getting back together. And you're like, 'Yeah, you ain't that attractive,' " he continued.
Jeremy Renner's attitude toward the accident's memories is best captured in a quotation from his memoir: "I'm not tormented by the tragedy — not too frequently anyhow — by the visuals, the noises. But I'm reminded of my new reality, which is delightfully fantastic. "I did not die."
