Meghan Markle has been accused of "exploiting" the British Royal system after reportedly utilizing the HRH title despite signing an agreement with the Royals.
Hugo Vickers, a royal specialist, criticised the Duchess of Sussex for using her royal title in personal letters, claiming it violated the agreement she and Prince Harry made when they resigned their official responsibilities.
Vickers told The Sun that Meghan's usage of "HRH" on a card demonstrates a lack of respect and that she is taking advantage of the royal connection.
"It shouldn't be used at all," she stated. "None of the titles should be utilized; they are manipulating the system. It connects them with the British Royal Family."
He said, "They can't have it both ways. They should not take advantage of it in any way; a contract is a bargain.
"The fact that a card was created demonstrates that this is not an isolated incident. This card exists and is most likely used frequently under a variety of scenarios.
"I am not shocked they are doing this; they are constantly pushing the boundaries. But they can't do that."
