Jessie Mei Li spoke on her first meeting with Tom Hardy, whom she costarred with in Havoc.
Mei Li, who gained to prominence as the protagonist Alina Starkov in the Shadow and Bone series, remembers meeting the Venom actor.
"The first day I met him was when I came in for firearms training, and I didn't know he was there," she told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview. "And then it was, "Oh, Tom's arrived. "You should bring him over."
The Last Night in Soho actress said that she was learning how to shoot, which is a need for her role Ellie.
Mei Li said that because she is sensitive to loud noises, she kept yelling "'Bang!'" and they were like, 'Jessie, stop, please.' But I really needed to get acclimated to the cacophony."
