Moto Tag has been introduced in India, months after being announced by the Lenovo-owned firm. The location tracker has compatibility for Google's Find My Device network. It is a Bluetooth-enabled tracker that works with Android devices and has an ultra-wideband (UWB) chip. Notably, Motorola first debuted the tracker in the United States in June 2024, and it costs $29 (approximately Rs. 2,423). Earlier this year, competitor OEMs Noise and Boat also launched Bluetooth trackers in the nation, the Noise Tag 1 and the Boat Tag, respectively.

Moto Tag is priced at Rs. 2,299 in India and will be available for purchase shortly on Flipkart and the Moto India website. The wireless tracker is available in Jade Green and Starlight Blue colors throughout the nation.
Moto Tag Features
The Moto Tag supports Google's Find My Device network, allowing users to trace lost things. When paired with a UWB-enabled smartphone, it is said to provide exact position monitoring. The 'Precision Finding' function is touted to be capable of properly locating the tracker even when it is not connected.
The Bluetooth tracker may be used to track little goods like keys, purses, and baggage, as well as bigger ones like motorcycles and cars. It supports Bluetooth 5.4 connection and is compatible with smartphones running Android 9 (Pie) or later. A separate ringer button enables consumers to locate missing phones. When taking images, the same button may be used to capture the image remotely.
The Moto Tag comes with a replaceable CR2032 battery that is advertised to last for up to a year. It is touted to provide end-to-end encryption for location information, allowing only the Moto Tag owner to find their belongings.
The gadget offers manual scanning to detect unwanted trackers, and it is supposed to notify other users if it follows them for a certain amount of time. The tracker has an IP67 dust and water resistant rating. The plastic body of the tracker is 31.9 x 8mm and weighs 7.5g.
