Tom Hardy, star of Venom, has revealed details about the filming of his forthcoming action flick Havoc.
The new action-packed picture contains a number of tough situations that the 47-year-old admitted were difficult for him.
During an interview, Tom remembers having a tough time executing one sequence in particular. But it wasn't the technical part that caused him problems; it was something else.
The Mad Max: Fury Road star said that the film's 'Medusa combat sequence' was extremely hot, and he nearly gave up.
"I was dressed in a thermal shirt, a wool shirt, and a T-shirt. "And it was summer."
"After the first ten minutes of tossing my arms about, I was thinking, 'I'm not going to make it. I am not going to make the day, Gareth."
Hardy revealed that he urged director Gareth Evans to chop off his sleeves.
"In the end, I just had the shirt bolero with two buttons, the Patagonia fleece on top of that, and an ice pack in the back." And then we were ready to leave! But, before then, I was struggling," he told Radio Times.
The Legend actor revealed that at the conclusion of the fight sequence, he appeared to be wearing a 'Muppet costume in the sunshine'.
The film Havoc, directed by Evans, will be released on Netflix on April 25.
