Evil Dead Burn will be the newest installment in the Evil Dead franchise. Director Sébastien Vaniček aims for a more aggressive approach in his future feature.
The filmmaker, already famed for gut-wrenching sequences, told Variety that with the sixth film in the trilogy, his "ambition remains the same as with Infested: to create a visceral, sensory experience that punches the audience in the gut."
"I want people to feel physically drained when they leave the theater, like they've been through an emotional and intense journey," he told me.
Sébastien characterized the four-decade-old franchise as "like a creative playground, a daring laboratory for filmmakers eager to explore something raw, brutal, and deeply transgressive."
