In an explosive BBC interview, Prince Harry made remarks that drew widespread condemnation.
While the bombshell interview may have outraged some, royal experts say the Duke of Sussex's late mother, Princess Diana, would have been "proud" of him.
On Hello! Magazine's A Right Royal Podcast, Ingrid Seward stated that the mother of Prince Harry and Prince William "might have been proud."
Ingrid also stated that Diana, King Charles' former wife, would have told Harry, "I'm glad you said what you thought."
She went on to clarify: "I think she would, I'm guessing, that she might have been quite proud of him for speaking up and saying what he thought, because that's what she liked."
"She liked to say exactly what she thought and then deal with the consequences afterwards, which is, of course, what happened to her," according to the specialist.
It's worth noting that this comes after Prince Harry made some stunning comments during his interview.
While expressing a wish to reconcile with the royal family, he acknowledged that King Charles "won't speak" to him. He also addressed Charles' health issues, stating, "I don't know how much longer my father has."
