The successor of 2023's Samsung Galaxy Buds FE is said to be under development and might be released as Galaxy Buds Core. Now, the alleged true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones have been discovered on a certification website. Although the listing lacks any remarkable characteristics that may provide insight into what they may provide, it does point to the rumored Galaxy Buds Core's introduction and availability in India.
Samsung Galaxy Buds' Core BIS Listing
The alleged Samsung Galaxy Buds Core are listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website under the model number SM-R410 (via 91Mobiles). They are projected to replace the original Buds FE as the South Korean technology conglomerate's most cheap TWS product.
It follows the claimed discovery of the Galaxy Buds Core's charging case, model number EP-QR410, on the same certification site last month. Although the BIS listing verifies the TWS earphones' India launch, the release date remains unknown.
According to prior reports, the development of the rumored TWS earbuds, originally dubbed the Galaxy Buds FE 2, has reached a "fairly advanced stage". The corporation is also apparently working on firmware. They are expected to appear alongside the Galaxy Z Flip FE, which will make its debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July.
Notably, the original Galaxy Buds FE were released in October 2023 as the company's most cheap TWS earbuds, costing Rs. 9,999. They are available in two colors: graphite and white, and over two years after their introduction, Samsung might eventually produce a replacement that improves on their features.
Samsung Galaxy Buds FE: Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE come with active noise cancellation (ANC). They include touch controls and include a rapid switching capability that allows the TWS earphones to immediately transition between devices. They have an IPX2 certification, indicating that they may withstand minor sprays of water.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Buds FE may provide up to six hours of battery life on a single charge with ANC activated and up to 21 hours without ANC, including the charging case.
