Honor Magic V5 will be released in China on July 2, and the firm is aggressively posting teasers that disclose its design and characteristics. Honor's recent social media billboard features the periscope telephoto camera on the future foldable smartphone. The Honor Magic V5 is likely to include a triple back camera array. It will have a compact profile and a battery capacity of 6,100mAh.
Honor teased the Magic V5 on Weibo, revealing that it will include a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The business claims that the forthcoming model offers the highest-resolution periscope telephoto camera among foldable smartphones on the market. For comparison, last year's Honor Magic V3 included a 50-megapixel periscope lens.
Aside from the periscope telephoto sensor, the Honor Magic V5 is said to include a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor.
Furthermore, the Honor Magic V5 has been verified to contain the Honor Luban shock-absorbing hinge. It is said to be drop-resistant and have AI-based foreign object recognition on the internal screen.

Honor Magic V5 will be launched in China on July 2. It is confirmed to have a 6,100 mAh battery. It will be available in four colours: Dawn Gold, Silk Road Dunhuang, Velvet Black, and Warm White. It will come in three RAM and storage configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
In its folded position, the Honor Magic V5 is 8.8mm thick. It is expected to launch as the world's thinnest and lightest foldable smartphone.
According to previous reports, the Honor Magic V5 would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The foldable phone is believed to have an IPX8-rated design for dust and water protection. The handset might include a 6.45-inch LTPO OLED cover screen and an 8-inch 2K internal display. It is expected to offer 66W wired fast charging and weigh around 217g.
