Prince Harry's latest surprising decision, which he described as a "need of the hour," failed to make an effect.
The Duke of Sussex recently visited Shanghai, urging the Asia-Pacific (APAC) travel sector to "strengthen its commitment to sustainable tourism and collective climate goals."
However, Harry has come under fire for going from the United States to China to preach sustainability. Not only that, but he gave a speech on stage when his father, King Charles, was on a historic visit of Canada.
Now, royal analyst Jennie Bond told the Mirror, "It appears to have made very little news. If the goal was to get as much attention for the cause as possible, it appears to have fallen short."
She said that Prince Harry failed to "overshadow" his father, King Charles, and Queen Camilla's official state visit.
Jennie went on: "The irony of flying across the world to promote sustainable, environmentally friendly travel is hard to ignore."
She asked, "Surely a video speech would have been more ethical?" Keep in mind Harry's objective to rescue the environment.
