Prince William and Kate Middleton are preparing for a more relaxed summer with their children before reconnecting with King Charles and the rest of the royal family in Scotland.

According to The Mail, the Wales family intends to spend time at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, where they will relax with bike rides and sailing outings on the rural estate.

But initially, Princess Catherine is anticipated to resume royal responsibilities during French President Emmanuel Macron's official state visit to Windsor Castle on July 8.

King Charles and Queen Camilla will entertain French President and First Lady Brigitte Macron at Windsor Castle as part of a three-day excursion that will go until July 10.

After that, the Prince and Princess of Wales will retire to their 10-bedroom Georgian home on the Sandringham Estate before moving north in August. They'll join King Charles at Balmoral Castle, the royal family's annual summer retreat in the Scottish Highlands.
