Meghan Markle is under pressure to earn cash as her and Prince Harry's careers evolve, according to PR and branding expert Matt Yanofsky.
As the pair navigates a period of professional separation, Meghan's lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which had a limited launch in March, is still awaiting its formal release, keeping fans guessing.
Yanofsky is skeptical of the brand's future, since Meghan focuses on her business while Prince Harry makes solo public engagements.
His response was: "I have been wrong before, but as of right now, it seems difficult." He noted that, while there is potential for a successful product or a profitable relationship, the current perspective looks to reflect a need to recoup investments.
"Outside looking in, it looks like people are panicking to try and make money back," according to Yanofsky.
"I'd be astonished if it worked, but more power to them. "I hope it does."
Matt stressed a vital point for Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand: "Is Meghan's fan base large enough to support this?"
He emphasized the gravity of the situation, questioning if the brand can develop traction before funding runs out.
"It appears like they are claiming to have a brand. While it may someday become one, the current situation is gloomy for anybody trying to benefit."
