Selena Gomez appears to have had enough of music and wants to pursue a career in acting.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter for their current cover story, the singer expressed a desire to pursue acting as a career.
When asked, "Looking ahead, what else do you want to accomplish professionally?" the diva provided an answer that may surprise admirers.
"I think I've done just as much as I wanted to do in music," she stated. She continued, "but it's exciting because I feel like I haven't even started in film and TV" .
Selena said, "even though I know I've been a part of some wonderful projects and am really proud of them. I appreciate how I have to earn my place, and I enjoy storytelling. So I'm eager to do more of it."
The outlet's spokesperson couldn't believe it when Selena teased about leaving music behind. They inquired again, "When you say you've done what you wanted to do with music…"
However, the Calm Down singer provided a reassuring response that fans would have appreciated.
"Almost finished. Music is not going away. "I just set it down for a second," she explained.
