The late singer Liam Payne's funeral will reunite the former One Direction band for the first time since their separation.
The remaining members, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson, will pay respect to their former bandmate during the ceremony. There is a probability that they may say goodbye to Liam by performing Elton John's Candle in the Wind.
However, according per RadarOnline, the lads have yet to confirm the musical tribute.
One of the sources stated, "It is very tragic news that has shaken the world. Aside from that, I believe the members will commemorate his life and pay honor to him."
"I can't see a full-scale tour, but I could see something along the lines of a show, a new track/ song and even something for his so, Bear."
"I believe they will want to do something. It may possibly be a last performance or a chance for them to do something special together," the person added.
One Direction was established in 2010 on X-Factor after Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger saw potential ability in all five members. They decided to form a band together. The band broke up in 2016.
Liam Payne died nine years later on October 16 as a result of a horrific accident. He fell from the third storey balcony of a hotel in Argentina. His funeral is scheduled to take place next week in the United Kingdom.
