Prince Harry added a sense of humour to the 22nd Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, which was presented by Hollywood star John Travolta.
King Charles' estranged son Harry looked great in a tuxedo as the Duke of Sussex paid homage to the gallant helicopter pilots and firemen who heroically battled the deadly Los Angeles wildfires.
Taking the stage, Harry quipped, 'I feel like I've chosen the short straw...not because I'm up here, but someone had to host a bunch of pilots and firefighters,' before pointing to the audience and said, 'That's where they are,' which elicited laughs.
The night began with devastating news: Virginia Giuffre, who accused King Charles' brother Prince Andrew of abuse, had committed herself.
As the horrific events transpired, Harry was soon led away.
Harry, who had already been honored at the same evening event, paid a surprise visit to wildfire victims with Meghan Markle.
