Paul Mescal, who plays an angry character in Gladiator II, has enrolled to see if his character is related to his professional path.
On November 18, Paul chatted with reporters following the film's premiere, where he discussed his role and the third sequel to the action-adventure.
During the interview, the BAFTA Award winner discussed how he brought such wrath to his part, while conceding that the rage is unrelated to his career trajectory.
He went further: "I mean, rage isn't useful with acting, I think."
"I believe I felt such support at drama school. I was looking, so I went to a theater school that didn't tear performers down," said the 28-year-old actor.
The actress who played Foe continued: "It was a drama school that was kind of based on love and support of the young people at the center of it, so very different to Macrinus but there's a similar kind of message in there somewhere I think."
Mescal, on the other hand, discussed Gladiator's future and stated that he is ready for another entrance, according to People.
"If there's going to be a Gladiator III, I hope I'm in it."
Ridley Scott's film also stars Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal in key roles.
