Ralph Macchio, the original Karate Kid, has reached a significant milestone by receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
On Wednesday, the celebrity was presented with an honorary star in front of his co-stars William Zabka and Tamlyn Tomita.
Ralp's name has been placed alongside his late co-star Pat Morita from the evergreen franchise. He felt proud to take his place alongside him.
As a result, he expressed his joy in a statement that read: "To have this star placed right next to my acting partner from that film, the great Pat Morita, is so meaningful to me, so powerful to me."
According to The Standard, the Cobra Kai actor went on to characterize his friendship with the late celebrity as'soulful magic'.
"Our collaboration is something I've always characterized as the spiritual magic of The Karate Kid films, and he's still here today, blessing all these stories that are unfolding. "I feel him here."
He said more: "The fact that that was part of the decision in putting us together, it means the world to me."
In the 1984 family action film, Macchio plays Daniel LeRusso, a Karate student. Meanwhile, Morita portrayed Mr. Miyagi, who instructs LeRusso martial techniques.
