Prince William congratulated 11-year-old Henil Soni on his incredible feat.
According to The Sun, the gifted student "created a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by solving 3,000 Rubik's Cubes" in 51 minutes at Harwich and Dovercourt High School in Essex on Friday.
Notably, the small child invited the future King to attend the occasion. Unfortunately, William was unable to attend Henil's world record attempt.
However, Kensington Palace wrote a thank you card on behalf of the Prince of Wales, who thanked the little champion for honoring his late grandma.
The message begins with the following: "Dear Mrs Soni, The Prince of Wales would have me thank you for your letter, in which you invite His Royal Highness to your son's world record attempt in December."
"Although The Prince is unable to attend on this occasion, it was most interesting to hear about Henil's wonderful achievements and His Royal Highness would have me express his sincere hope that the event will be a success."
"It was nice of Henil to commemorate Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in this manner. The Prince of Wales would have me convey his heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to you and Henil."
It is worth noting that William's personal letter came after he began the Christmas holidays with his wife, Princess Kate, and his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, at their Georgian house, Anmer Hall, on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
