The magazine said that the family had been visiting the resort "in total discretion" for the previous 15 years. It was supposed to be their second trip to the Alps in the previous three months.

While no official protest has been lodged on behalf of the future King and Queen, this will not be the royal couple's first run-in with French tabloids. According to The Telegraph, William and Kate may be following in Harry's footsteps by filing a lawsuit against the magazine.
The announcement comes as the Duke of Sussex struggles for police protection in the UK following a two-day judicial hearing for his appeal against the Home Office.
Following the court hearing, Harry gave a shocking interview in which he stated that his police protection had been withdrawn so that the Firm could keep him in the royal fold.
