Princess Eugenie's unexpected move has left senior members of the royal family, including Prince William and Queen Camilla, concerned.
The Princess of York has apparently opted to continue supporting the former working royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, despite the Firm's hatred of the Sussexes' untrustworthiness.
According to In Touch Weekly, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson "was under pressure to distance herself from Meghan and Harry to prove her loyalty to the crown."
Nevertheless, the monarch "clearly had a change of heart and she and [her husband] Jack are now doing their best to support Meghan and Harry."
It is worth noting that Eugenie's move was not well received by the royal family.
According to an insider, she is concerned that her relationship with them may have an impact on her status within the royal family.
The informant stated: "Fact is, this is being seen as them taking the Sussexes' side and it's not sitting well with a lot of people in the Firm, particularly Camilla and William, who are convinced Meghan and Harry are still using Eugenie to get intel on the rest of the family."
Harry and Meghan quit the royal family in 2020. Because of their irresponsible utterances, the pair has fallen out of favor with important royal leaders.
