The royal family has finally broken its silence on Windsor Castle, providing rare glimpses inside the ancient castle in the most recent update following a security breach.
King Charles III's administration provided followers with an exciting update on the royal palace via a video uploaded on the official royal family's Instagram account.
It follows a security breach at Windsor Castle on Sunday, when two masked men entered the royal home as William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and their children slept nearby.
The Palace shared the newly released film, asking, "Have you ever wondered what is inside the iconic Round Tower at Windsor Castle?".
Buckingham Palace disclosed that the tower houses the Royal Archives, which are defined as "a unique collection of documents relating to the history of the British monarchy over the last 250 years."
Palace stated, "Each year, we publish artifacts from the Royal Archives as part of the UK-wide campaign #ExploreYourArchive Week. This year's themes are'mythology', 'fashion', and 'disco'. Visit our link in bio to discover some of the Archives' numerous treasures."
